On Thursday 13th January 2022 we held a Whole School Careers Fair in our huge Sports Hall. A really successful event which saw all of our students from Y7 right through to Y13 being given access to talk to a wide range of careers, pathways and opportunity providers.  Represented were 6th Forms, Universities, Local FE Colleges, Apprenticeship Providers, Industry Sectors (such as Construction, Project Management, Football, IT Solutions, Engineering, Travel & Tourism, Groundskeeping), Local businesses, Uniformed Services (Army, Navy, RAF & Police), plus Volunteering and Extra Curricular services to boost students skills and experiences.

Students were prepared for the Whole School Careers Fair in their Character lessons, before the event. They discussed the companies who would be attending, how to approach them and start a conversation and how to get the most out of the event. We also gave them prompt sheets on the day to help initiate those important careers conversations.

We were delighted with the event and have had some really lovely feedback from our visitors saying how engaged and well behaved our students were and how much they had enjoyed talking to them.
